Save money Week 1 = $1, Week 2 = $2 and so forth until Week 52 = $52 saved =)

After a few days of pulling my hair out, trying to figure what the issue is. I deleted the whole site. Tweaked a few things and am slowing replacing all the old content back in.

My SSD died last week! 26gig is the size of my arma2oa folder with these supporting mods;
Beta,Expansion,@CBA,@CBA_A2,@CBA_OA,JRSR,@sthud,@s t_movment,@st_bunnyhop,@st_map_autobrightness,@st_ lb_enhance.

After a bit of digging, I got "use search to find how to run Arma 2 CO" results too often.

The information is in too many places!
Many diffident shortcuts were not working either!

This is how I fixed

Install Arma 2, patch to 1.05, then patch to 1.11.
Run the game -might have to install battle-eye.

Install Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead.
Install patch 1.60 + 1.62 + lastest beta patch!

In the OA folder there is a batch file called _runA2CO and _runA2CObeta.
What this does it links A2 with OA in the registry, it also adds 2 shortcuts in the OA folder to the addons folder and the Dtr folder in A2.

Still come up with the above error. So I deleted the 2 shortcuts. Copied Addons and the Dtr folder from Arma 2 to the Operations Arrowhead directory.

=) this fixed my error of deleted stuff. I not sure why it dident work, maybe a windows 8 thing?


Install your mods. I found the six updater would not add the 2 updates (update 2, update 3) for the JRSR sound mod. this was getting me kicked from servers.

@jsrs 1.5 = This is a problem, as it was opening both as different mods.
I installed this into a new directory, added update 2 then 3, over writing any files, then moved it to my OA folder as @jsrs.

I use Arma Launcher to load mods and start the game =)

The Blood Donor

An Arab Sheik was admitted to Hospital for heart surgery, but prior to the surgery, the doctors needed to store his blood in case the need arises.
As the gentleman had a rare type of blood, it couldn't be found locally, so, the call went out.
Finally a Scotsman was located who had a similar blood type.
The Scot willingly donated his blood for the Arab.
After the surgery, the Arab sent the Scotsman as appreciation for giving his blood, a new BMW, diamonds & US dollars.
A couple of days later, once again, the Arab had to go through a corrective surgery.
His doctor telephoned the Scotsman who was more than happy to donate his blood again.
After the second surgery, the Arab sent the Scotsman a thank-you card and a box of Quality Street chocolates.

The Scotsman was shocked that the Arab did not reciprocate his kind gesture as he had anticipated.
He phoned the Arab and asked him: "I thought you would be generous again, that you would give me a BMW, diamonds & money, but you only gave me a thank-you card and a box of Quality Street .."

To this the Arab replied: "Aye laddie, but I now have Scottish blood in ma veins".
